Ben Dembla - Venture Capitalist and Engineer
A graduate of Syracuse University and dean’s list honoree, Ben Dembla holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering with minors in mathematics and economics. He also holds a master of business administration from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School. Ben Dembla completed an internship at Mumbai-based PRECITEX, a producer of high-quality cots and aprons. In addition to gaining valuable experience in sales and marketing, he supported exports for a global network of distributors.
After earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Dembla served as a project engineer with ABB-Simcon in New Jersey, where he worked with Honeywell to create real-time control rooms and simulators to improve controls for use in the pulp and paper, oil, and petrochemical industries. He also worked on projects with AutoDynamics, overseeing the installation of on-site computer hardware systems.
Currently, Ben Dembla concentrates his efforts on identifying and raising venture capital for promising individuals and companies and providing advisory services. In his free time, he has enjoyed traveling globally.
